Hey man, dinner last night was the best meal I’ve had in months. I’m a vegetarian, so it’s not like I stuffed myself with tryptophan-enriched turkey and passed out afterward. Although, I did have some pretty nice imitation chicken. Anyway, the moral of the story is: Thanksgiving isn’t generally about giving thanks. It’s more about stuffing one’s face and watching football. Fun for all, until the after-cleanup. But even that can be fun.Trouble is, too many Americans eat like it’s Thanksgiving all the time. If they didn’t do that, the country probably wouldn’t have such a problem with obesity, and other countries probably wouldn’t bash us so much. Oh well. As long as Bush is in power, there’s no stopping people from making fun of us
