Finished reading: From the Mull to the Cape by Richard Guise 📚

A pleasant enough read. Entertaining in place, interesting in others. But a few rather ill-judged attempts at humour made me wince. Good enough that I’ll likely read another of his cycling adventure memoirs.


Whoops.


I found out today that one of my good university / student magazine buddies passed away some weeks ago. Regretting deeply phone calls not made, chats postponed too long and which will now never happen.


Netflix’s itchy cancellation finger has made me less and less likely to start watching a new series there. Our subscription is safe for now, but it won’t take too many more series abruptly truncated without resolution before it’ll be heading for the chopping block.
