Typepad RIP
Wow. Typepad is shutting down after 22 years. And they’re giving a whole month’s notice.
I remember, back when I was managing a corporate relationship with Six Apart, when they started telling us that they thought Typepad would be a better match for our blog publishing needs (we had a very large Movable Type installation, running dozens of successful business blogs.).
It really wasn’t. When I left, they were starting to project plan a move to WordPress.
I wonder what will happen to the blogs.com domain they own?
