As noted on One Man & His Blog earlier, I’ve been busy having old media scanning and brought into the digital age. This photo, taken on an APS camera sometime in 1999 is particularly poignant for me.

The two figures walking into the afternoon sun on a Suffolk beach are Mum and Dad. Dad would be gone within two years of this photo being taken, and Mum lasted less than a decade.

And yet, it doesn’t make me sad. It’s a great reminder of the lovely times I often had with them.
