I have reached the point in coffee fussiness where, after being disappointed with a coffee when brewed with Aeropress, I switched to a different brew method - and really enjoyed that coffee.
There’s no hope for me now.

this looks interesting. What is this method called?
@mcr It’s the V60.
thank you! I’m always looking for new ways to make coffee for the wife.
I've been using much the same method and it's the best I've found so far. The diffference is I use Melitta pour through and filters. Works perfectly.
The Clever coffeemaker! A colleague swears by it and I tried it. But I like the AeroPress, though I do find it a bit fussy. I feel like I’m going to end up with a drip machine and then I’ll hate myself.
@MitchWagner Oh, I love my Aeropress. But for this particular coffee, it just wasn’t working.
@Cassinato I was talking more about my own fussiness over brew methods for different coffees, but point taken.
I switched from reverse Aeropress to Kalita and V60 and I'm much happier with the results.
Interesting. I thought it was one of these

Same principle as V60 but with a valve at bottom so coffee steeps for a couple of minutes before flowing through. Combines French Press and pour over.
@emma Aeropress can be a little fussy but the results are worth it for me.
